2025 PFCCO ML Business Center Annual Assembly and Educational Forum (Chapter Assembly)

The PFCCO Mindanao League (PFCCO ML) Educational Forum and Business Center Assembly gathered cooperative leaders, members, and partners from across the region for a day filled with learning, collaboration, and strategic planning. Held with the theme of advancing automation, sustainability, and inclusive governance, the event proved to be both insightful and empowering.
This year’s assemblies brought together a total of 97 cooperatives and 290 delegates across the following clusters:
- Main Office Business Center: 32 cooperatives | 67 delegates
- Caraga Business Center: 27 cooperatives | 85 delegates
- Davao & SOCSARGEN Business Centers: 14 cooperatives | 51 delegates
- Northwestern Mindanao Business Center: 24 cooperatives | 87 delegates
Morning Session – Educational Forum
The day began with the arrival and registration of delegates, greeted warmly by the Secretariat. The forum opened with solemn and inspiring preliminaries: an opening prayer, the singing of the National Anthem, the Cooperative Pledge, and the stirring rendition of “Himig PFCCO.”

A special Message from the PFCCO ML General Manager set the tone for the day, emphasizing unity and progress in the face of evolving cooperative landscapes.
Educational Forum Topics
Participants were treated to a series of valuable learning sessions, focusing on the modernization and compliance efforts of the cooperative movement:
- Automation, Connectivity, and Digitalization – Preparing cooperatives for a tech-driven future.
- CISA CIC Reporting – Enhancing transparency and information sharing.
- ACCESS Branding – Strengthening cooperative identity and market presence.
- BIR: New Taxation Reports – Keeping cooperatives updated on new regulatory requirements.
A milestone moment followed with the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Greening Mindanao Project, an initiative promoting environmental sustainability through Payment for Ecosystem Services.
Two key collaborations were sealed:
- Main Office Partnership: PFCCO ML – MINDA – BUKTAMACO, represented by Atty. Burt M. Estrada.
- Caraga BC Collaboration: PFCCO ML – MINDA – Sta. Josefa LGU and Sayon Manobo Tribal Association, with Tribal Chieftain Hawudon Jover D. Navarro.
Afternoon Session – Business Center Assembly
In the afternoon, the forum transitioned into the Business Center Assembly Proper, a vital space for cooperative governance and participatory decision-making.
Key Agenda Points:
- Approval of past and present assembly agendas
- Presentation of the Management Report, covering:
- Trainings conducted
- CETF remittance status
- CISA CIC updates
- Coopbase PASS Alliance Sites
- Elections were held for several vital positions, including:
- Main Office & Northwestern Mindanao Business Center Officers
- Board of Directors for Women/GAD, Managers Group, and Youth Group
- Audit Committee and Election Committee, with one open slot addressed
- Members were also reminded to file their candidacies for elective positions in the upcoming 29th PFCCO ML AGA and Educational Forum.
With the strong participation of 97 cooperatives and 290 delegates, the assemblies reaffirmed PFCCO ML’s solid foundation and united vision. These gatherings continue to reflect our shared values of collaboration, sustainability, and inclusive development.
